Social Media Filmmaking Workshop
Join the Delhi Photography Club Smartphone Filmmaking Workshop and learn how to transform your ideas into engaging, professional-looking videos using just your smartphone and the latest AI-powered tools. Whether you are a content creator, entrepreneur, student, freelancer, photographer, or social media enthusiast, this one-day hands-on workshop will help you understand how to create compelling content that captures attention and drives engagement.
The workshop will begin with Storytelling for Social Media, covering the fundamentals of visual storytelling, audience engagement, the Hook–Story–Call to Action (CTA) framework, content ideation, and scripting. Participants will then explore Smartphone and DSLR Filmmaking, learning camera settings, composition, framing, visual aesthetics, lighting and sound fundamentals, camera movement, vertical video production, and cinematic shooting techniques. The workshop includes practical shooting exercises so participants can immediately apply what they learn.
The Video Editing Essentials session will introduce participants to the complete editing workflow and the art of storytelling through editing. You will learn how to use music, transitions, graphics, subtitles, colour correction, and visual effects, along with techniques for creating videos specifically for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube.
A major part of the workshop will focus on AI Tools for Content Creators. Participants will learn how to use tools such as ChatGPT for generating content ideas, developing scripts, writing captions, and planning content. The workshop will also introduce AI-powered solutions for thumbnails, voiceovers, subtitles, and faster content creation workflows, helping participants build a more efficient and sustainable personal or professional content strategy.
The workshop is a one-day workshop from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Building No. 5D, 2nd Floor, Dada Jungi Lane, Shahpur Jat Village, New Delhi – 110049. The workshop fee is ₹3400/-. Participants are requested to bring a notebook and pen, a fully charged smartphone and/or camera, sufficient memory or storage space, and a charger or power bank.
