DPC announces Holi trip to Barsana Nandgoan and Vrindavan
DPC announces most awaited DPC photobus trip of the year for covering Holi at Barsana-Nandgaon-Vrindavan. A place full of color, people, faces, festivity, mornings and evenings shot providing photo-opportunity in abundance!
The trip will be for 3 day 2 night. We will be going by road.
Day 1 – 06th March, Monday
Leave from IIT Delhi, main gate at: 5.00 am (pls be there 20 mins prior to departure)
Reach Barsana by 9.00 am and cover Holi festivities. After lunch, capture Holi festivities in the narrow lanes of Barsana.
Stay is in Vrindavan at Ananda Krishna Van Hotel.
Day 2 – 07th March, Tuesday
At 5.00 am, start for Nandgoan early morning photography when there’s no crowd and traffic.
Post breakfast visit Nandgoan.
At 5.00 pm start back for Hotel at Vrindavan
Day 3 – 08th March, Wednesday
8.00 am: Start with a visit to narrow lanes of Vrindavan and early morning photography when there’s no crowd.
Visit the Banke Bihariji Temple
Have breakfast and hang around for the complete day
By 5.00 pm: Start back for Delhi
Other Important Details:
Stay: will be on sharing basis in Vrindavan at Ananda Krishna Van Hotel.
Mode of travel: We will be travelling in an AC TEMPO traveller together.
Gear: Barsana-Nandgaon-Vrindavan offers some breathtaking morning and evening shots. Hence wide angle and zoom lens are advised with camera covers because of HoliCelebrations.
Please wear comfortable clothes according to the weather, comfortable shoes as there will be a lot of walking, take your hats/caps, shades and sunscreen.
Meal: Simple vegetarian meals will be provided by the club.
The group will follow the itinerary mentioned above, however if one wants to visit places at one owns will, can visit accordingly on their own.
Fee: Rs. 8000 per person, DPC members: Rs. 7500 per person.
The cost includes stay, travel and food. Does not include tickets for camera and equipment if any.
Please carry the balance amount in cash.
Anything taken in room service at guest house will be paid individuals.
