About Akhsat Bhargava 

Photography can be an art of living for an ardent photographer like Akshat Bhargava. He is an avid traveler and his incessant passion to explore the vividness of various places and their cultural hues always inspired him to be a photographer at a young age. He strongly believes that everyone has an indigenous quality to capture a captivating image, but only a few have an eye to envisage the hidden emotion that conveys a story of a particular image.

 

So far he has traveled around 20 countries and willing to explore more. After earning a Diploma in Masterscraftman of Professional Photography and Digital Imaging from Shari Academy, Mumbai, he picked up a job in America and start doing what he always wanted to do, Travel and Photography.

Besides holding a diploma in Photography and Digital Imaging, he has done another multi-faceted course in filmmaking from Sydney, Australia.

He has worked extensively with renowned brands like – McKinsey and Company, Amazon, Shopclues, Clarks, One Championship, etc. The journey he embarked years ago to become what he is today has been full of challenges yet interesting. He is now established as a stalwart and a visionary photographer amongst his clients. He does not only believe in meeting the client’s expectations, rather exceeding them.

Introduction to studio lighting.

In this two day workshop on studio lighting we will cover six different types of lighting.

Hi-key and Low Key lighting
Split lighting
loop , Rembrandt and butterfly
3-point lighting
It will also be covering inverse square law of lighting
Product , Food, portrait and Fashion.

First day will be theory followed by hands on practical.

Beginning of the practical will be introduction to studio: Do and Don’ts in studio, features of studio light, maintaining a studio, taking care of studio equipment, Knowing the light stands, soft box.

Key Features of the workshop:
As it will be a detailed workshop on studio lighting, It will mainly emphasize on portraits as one can deeply understand lighting on human figure. But as the workshop contains different types of lighting and it will be the base of all kinds of lighting, so one light any kind of products, food, portrait or fashion after this workshop.

Requirements
All DPC workshops require you to have loads of enthusiasm.You can have a DSLR and you know how to use your camera features

DPC is announcing its next Photo bus trip to Pushkar in the month November to capture the world’s largest Camel Fair! The Pushkar Mela. A truly unforgettable experience to capture the vibrancy of the entire state of Rajasthan in one place!

The details for this trip are as follows:

 

Travel Details from Delhi to Pushkar

Meeting Place:  Main gate of IIT Delhi.

Date of Journey: 15th November 18, Thursday

Timings: 10.00 pm (pls be there 15 mins prior to departure)

16th November: (Friday) Reach Pushkar by morning, check in at a Hotel, grab breakfast and rust to the Mela
17th November: (Saturday) Morning: capture the Sunrise, visit the fair and also doing the local markets of Puskar.

18th November: (Sunday) Visiting the famous Brahma Temple known as the Jagatpita Brahma Mandir .

Late evening head back to Delhi.
